Fun fact about Behati Prinsloo: She is from Namibia. Ha! Now that, we would not have guessed…
Fun fact 2 about Behati Prinsloo: She’s currently engaged to Adam Levine who, fun fact number 3, was voted Sexiest Man Alive in 2013.
Fun fact 4: Given that she’s a Victoria’s Secret Angel, you may have some inkling that we’ve got a pretty good looking couple on our hands.
We have to say though, we totally think that Adam is NOT the sexiest man alive – granted, he’s handsome but COME. ON. When you have the likes of David Gandy and George Clooney walking this earth, Adam can’t be number 1. No no no. Anyway, rant over.
What we like about Behati is that her style is so far from clean cut. She seems to, more often than not, walk out of the house without make up, and some of her outfits look like they’ve come straight out of a thrift store – perhaps she is friends with Macklemore harrr harrr!
Her style is so laid back, you can tell that she dresses to please and suit herself which we should all learn to do.
As a general rule, she looks a lot more real than some of her Angel counterparts who look like they’ve put some serious work into looking perfect to go walk their dog. This is not to be interpreted as a criticism – Miranda Kerr, we still love and worship you and we would try to look as perfect as you if we could be bothered.
Having said all that, boy does Behati scrub up well!

We’re feeling nostalgic again today so we decided to bring you a good and oldie – we’re going to take a sneak peek at Princess Diana’s fashion history.
Firstly, we have to admit that we love the idea of royal families in general… I guess it’s partly to do with growing up watching Disney films, partly to do with the fact that we know a princess like Diana would have had some mad secrets. Can you imagine if you knew all of them?? We bet your head would explode.
Secondly, we love royal fashion – analysing the way royals dress is somewhat fascinating don’t you think? Every time we watch them on TV we think, oooooh so this is what a Princess should dress like, or ooooooh, is that appropriate??
Thirdly, in the words of Rihanna, ‘Princess Diana was gangsta with her clothes’.
That, she was…
Before you get confused, no, she did not wear New Era caps or Air Jordans with a massive bling chain around her neck. She was definitely a fashion rebel however (the first of her kind in terms of modern royals as far as we know). And we love us one of those. Diana used to push the fashion boundaries not just in view of her status; she used to push fashion boundaries even for the likes of you and me. She just had her own style which we admire, especially coming from someone who was most probably constantly dictated what to do and how to behave. Obviously that may be a bit more difficult to see now given that fashion has much changed since then, hence things which were totally new at the time are now uber old news and far from ground breaking. So bear that in mind before judging.
Finally, style aside, Diana was unique and knew how to stand up for herself. Girl power ladies!
And enjoy the retro!
It’s all about Vichy patterns, polka dots, tartans, sequins and velvet… we LOVE it!
The more daring it is, the better!

Today, for our celeb’ fashion feature, we give you Jessica Alba.
Jessica isn’t just your average noughties pop culture idol with the most incredible physique you’ve ever seen.
She played in the absolute classic romantic comedy/teen movie Never Been Kissed – yes she did, honest. Re-watch it (she’s one of the mean popular girls). It was one of our cult films growing up so it will always hold a special place in our hearts.
That and she also played in Sin City which is also one of our all-time favourites (not for the faint hearted we would say so don’t just watch it because we like it) – one of our cult films as grown-ups. For all you Sin City and Jessie A fans out there, in case you didn’t already know, there’s a Sin City 2 coming out. Yes, we know, we can’t wait either. We’re getting heart palpitations just thinking about it.
Finally – and really the most relevant point here – she’s got great fashion sense. Looking at her fashion history, we feel like she really developed a flair for fashion in her 30s (not that she dressed badly before but she really has her own style now) so for all of you out there who don’t know how to put an outfit together – there’s still hope that that skill might kick in some day. Dooooon’t stop, beliiieeeeving (Journey anyone?)!

We remember liking a few of Whitney’s outfits back from her days on The City (MTV Reality TV Show – yes peeps, we like to watch quality television), so we decided to look into her a bit more and my, my, my, we are impressed.
Whitney has what we consider to be a very American style: she loves to mix different prints, styles, colours and textures (which we are all up for!). Sort of like Olivia Palermo. Her evil counterpart on the show.
We think us Europeans like to be a bit duller (in the ‘less colourful’ sense, not the boring sense). What do you reckon?
In any case, our personal prints-mixing-&-matching skills aren’t quite up to scratch… are yours? If not, please do step into Whitney’s world (Port obviously not Houston).

Harr harr…. Get it?? Like the Elton John song Candle in the Wind?? Hilarious. Yes we are incredibly witty, as usual. Don’t mention it.
Anyway, hello everybody! Here at StyleChi, we like fair fights, so we couldn’t do Kylie Jenner’s style file without also doing Kendall’s. Besides, they’re kind of a package deal, or so we’ve been told.
We still believe that Kylie’s personal style is more interesting, however we do have to concede that Kendall has come up with some pretty cool looks and also dabbles a lot more than we would have liked to admit – yeah, we’re slightly biased but we usually let the facts prevail… She’s actually quite versatile (perhaps more so than Kyls even!), going from girly, to androgynous, to grunge, to very classical (we didn’t include many of those pics though, ha). Not ever scandalous or earth shattering fashion-wise but nonetheless, go Kendall!
One thing we will say, she definitely won the genes lottery in model world – by Jove is the girl tall and lanky! You kind of wonder how her and teenie, curvaceous Kim Kardashian are even half sisters!

We know Kendall Jenner seems to be considered as the model of the Jenner-Kardashian family and as a result gets more attention than her sister (well, that and she dated Harry Styles), but we have to say we think Kylie’s style is much more interesting. She mixes grunge and edgy and we love that her staple look is a crop top with something short but high waisted. Perfection. We would dress like that every day if the UK weather allowed it (it defo doesn’t…). And yes, we know that comparing sisters is naughty, oops.
So you want to dress like Kylie? As we said, crop tops will be your best friends. Jersey and plain preferably, Kylie is not a pattern fan. Team that with a high waisted skirt (jersey or textured but again plain) or high waisted shorts (ripped cut offs if you’re aiming for the grunge look) with lace up biker boots or strappy heeled sandals and BOOM. You’ve got yourself a Kylie outfit.
Also, before you ask:
-Yes, we do think the K naming is silly (you know, Kim, Kloe, Kendall, Kourtney etc… ESPECIALLY Kourtney and Kloe actually. That’s just plain wrong surely…).
-And no, we’ve never kept up with the Kardashians… Okay fine! We watched two episodes (and that show is surprisingly addictive).
